You take sugar in your coffee, don’t you?
¿no?, ¿cierto?...
You’re the new teacher, aren’t you?
It’s
not warm, is it?
el auxiliar do/does y el pronombre sujeto.
The
children like ice cream, do they?
They
paid the bill, didn’t they?
- Cuando la oraci贸n contiene una
palabra con significado negativo con never,
hardly, seldom o rarely, la question tag
es afirmativa.
She
never goes anywhere, does she?
you?
Do
sit down, won’t you? (sientese, por favour)
Y las formas
will you?, would you?,
can you?, can’t you? y could you? (para
ordenar al interlocutor que haga algo):
Stop talking, will you
/would you?
la forma will you?:
Don’t
forget, will you?
- Hay verbos y expresiones que
forman las question tags de forma diferente:
I am → aren’t I?: I’m tall,
aren’t I?
Don’t → will you?: Don’t move,
will you?
Let’s → shall we?: Let’s sit
here, shall we?
I have (got)
(posesi贸n) → haven’t I?: He has got a car, hasn’t he?
I have
(otros significados) → don’t I?: You have a big breakfast every day, don’t you?
There is
/there are → isn’t / aren’t there?: There is a woman in the room, isn’t there?
This / that
is → isn’t it?: This
is Tom’s coat, isn’t it?
The meeting’s at tour o’clock, isn’t it?↑
It’s a beautiful day, isn’t it? ↓
estructura:
Oraci贸n en forma negativa +
question tag
You couldn’t lend me a pound, could you?
(¿No me podr铆as prestar un libro?)
You haven’t seen my keys anywhere, have you?
(No habr谩s visto mis laves por alguna parte, ¿verdad?)
